The Meal Share program rescues prepared foods in excess from local restaurants and cafeterias around the Bloomington area. During "Repack," volunteers package the meals into freezer bags fit for a four-person household. Repack occurs every Monday, Wednesday and Friday evening at 5:30pm at the Hoosier Hills Food Bank. Each Repack lasts 1-2 hours, depending on the amount of food and number of volunteers that day. View the calendar to see the full schedule of Repack sessions and list of volunteers. Groups, families, and individuals are welcomed! Sign up your church group, fraternity, dorm hall, neighborhood, golf buddies, etc for a once-a-month commitment, or come just once and check it out! Our Latest Volunteer Newsletter, the Repacker Digest! View Video Story about Repack Volunteers by Journalism student, January Jones. Contact Kim at 334-8374 or volunteer@hhfoodbank.org if interested in volunteering.
